I just love working with tools, whether they are physical tools or virtual tools.<\/p>\n

It has to be a fixation I had from early childhood days watching my Dad as a ship maker working with hand made tools carved out of wood, the days before plastic and commercially available made tools for his industry became readily available.<\/p>\n

Using tools to make things always intrigued me.<\/p>\n

I guess this why I chose a career in Design Engineering.<\/p>\n

Working in this field our mantra was always Form, Fit and Function.<\/p>\n

Just recently over a telephone conversation my good friend Alan Brandt and I where discussing different approaches to how we do SEO work and results.<\/p>\n

When I asked “Alan what tools do you use day to day that help you with your activities”<\/p>\n

Alan rattled off a list of must have tools he couldn’t live without.<\/p>\n

Just this morning I had a problem removing a tool from my PC that was giving me problems to the point I couldn’t even remove it from my registry.<\/p>\n

Then all of a sudden, I remembered the list of tools Alan had emailed me and I wanted to share this one with you.<\/p>\n

Here is a description of an Uninstaller that Alan sent me. The good thing about this its FreeWare from Snapfiles.<\/p>\n

The program also includes a startup manager to inspect and disable programs that start automatically as well as a privacy cleaner to remove Internet traces, a secure deletion tool and an option to find and remove files, folders and registry keys that were left behind during uninstall. I installed this program and in\u00a0no time I had the difficult to remove program removed!!<\/p>\n

I liked this so much I just had to share this, it saved me time messing with having to find a way to get rid of a pesky tool that was not working properly.<\/p>\n

Since I like this so much, I also had it scan for junk files.<\/p>\n

WOW!!!!<\/p>\n

I couldn’t believe all the junk files that showed up. I use CCleaner daily to clean up my drive, but REVO found files that CCleaner never found. Great tool, REVO.<\/p>\n

A word of caution.<\/strong> Any tool I mention always, always check it out with caution. I can’t be responsible how any tool is going to perform on anyone’s system. If you don’t know how to do a backup or protect yourself don’t try this, you never know how any of these tools will perform on anyone’s system.<\/p>\n

I am going to try to share a new tool as frequent as possible on this blog.<\/p>\n
