An Amazing Amount of Information Has Been Collected
With all the news about how the NSA is spying on all us, I just discovered someone is joining in for making obvious on just how much information is being kept on our internet activities. But this time it is about Google’s little secrets they don’t make obvious to all of us.
I just come across an awakening news item in yahoo about how you can view everything you have ever done with Google in an accessible dashboard.
I bring this up because I am big supporter of trying to live with very few of Google’s free services because they are self serving and diabolic.
For a considerable amount of time I have been warning that Google Analytics, webmaster tools etc… and now Chrome has been exposing your hand to how you conduct business.
With all the latest updates it would seem obvious the users of their technology is giving them your every movement, your keywords, your linking patterns and what ever items you use to skew your search rankings.
The latest scam is the Disavow tool in hopes of admitting your wrongs so you will get back in the grace of Google for better rankings. All that did is give Google data to confirm their algorithms are working or tweak them some more.
I just love it their motto “DO NO HARM” – B.S.
I know what I say here will not be popular, but you all must be gullible if you believe in using their analytic tools and browser.
If your going to play in the Lions Den expect to be bitten.
Everyone of you who use these types of tools are giving their play book to Google. So when the next update knocks you out of the rankings just think about your usage of their tools could they of been part of the reason for lost rankings? Maybe.
Now don’t get me wrong not everything Google does is devious.
For example taking advantage of the next biggest search engine and traffic driver youtube for now is a good thing. Till they start implementing pay for a right to access. Coming they are already experimenting with this business model.
Unfortunately they are the king of search with very little hope of being toppled.
For the sake of survival think about jumping into the next shiny new item Google rolls out.
Enough of my rant and my hate for Google.
Check out the article I found and dare to check out all your activities being collected by the DO NO HARM people. Just think what damage this could do to you if someone has access to your passwords.
